Tennant Australia Introduces Walk-behind Floor Scrubber with
Larger Scrubbing Head

Tennant T3+ combines industry-leading performance with
sustainable cleaning technology

Tennant Company (NYSE: TNC), a leading provider of cleaning technologies designed to create a cleaner, safer, healthier world, today announces the introduction of a walk-behind floor scrubber designed to more quickly and efficiently clean a broader range of floor surfaces. The Tennant T3+ walk-behind scrubber offers customers the choice of two standard sustainable technologies: Tennant’s breakthrough ec-H2O™ technology or Tennant FaST® (Foam-activated Scrubbing Technology).

T3+
These high-quality floor scrubbers are equipped with a 24-inch/600 mm scrub head to provide a 20 percent wider cleaning path than current models. The combination of a larger scrub head and advanced technologies allow these machines to perform like much larger scrubbers, so Tennant customers can maximise scrub time and realise significantly increased productivity by scrubbing three times longer between empty/fills. The small, highly manoeuvrable body allows the T3+ to clean in all the same spaces as traditional 20-inch/500 mm scrubbers.

In addition to significantly higher productivity, these floor scrubbers provide additional benefits. Tennant’s ec-H2O technology converts plain tap water into a powerful cleaning agent without any added chemicals, providing chemical cost savings and a faster return-on-investment. This innovative technology, developed by Tennant researchers and engineers, helps meet the ever-growing need for sustainable cleaning.  ec-H2O technology begins as water and ends as water, so it can be handled and disposed of easily and safely, and it uses 70 percent less water than traditional cleaning methods, which increases scrub time up to three times longer per tank.

FaST is Tennant’s patented Foam-activated Scrubbing Technology that uses 70 percent less water and requires 90 percent less detergent than traditional cleaners while removing old detergent residues to help reduce the risk of slip and fall accidents. Tennant’s FaST has earned the internationally recognised USA National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI) “high traction” certification. NFSI certification is applied to walkway materials, floor maintenance products and floor coatings that result in high-traction floors that increase slip resistance at least 20 percent to reduce the risk of slip and fall accidents.

“We are very proud to offer our customers with mid-size facilities a choice of highly efficient, sustainable cleaning solutions that enable them to maintain their facilities with the most environmentally sound cleaning technologies available. This scrubber responds to our customers asking for a nimble, cost effective machine that provides them with a more flexible cleaning solution,” said Andy Eckert, vice president, Americas with Tennant Company.
